We came to CAP looking for a 2nd dog, a friend for our Zuri. Tilly had recently had her front leg amputated, stayed with a foster to recover and was back at the shelter.
She looked so calm and sad in her cage, yet trusting. Her eyes spoke volumes. We did a 5 day foster at first to make sure she got along with Zuri.
From the moment she came into my home, we knew she was our forever dog. We are so thankful CAP saved her. And by adopting her I knew we were opening up a spot for another dog to be saved.
She’s the greatest dog, we adore her! She loves belly rubs and ice cubes and traveling in the car! She’s best friends with Zuri. We have been so lucky and blessed to have her! -Audrey J
