Clear the Shelters Adoption Event

We're excited to once again participate in Clear the Shelters, a nationwide adoption campaign dedicated to helping shelter pets find loving homes.

Throughout the entire month of August, all adoptions are 50% off thanks to the generous support of West Houston Subaru. Whether you're looking for a playful puppy, a cuddly kitten, or a loyal adult companion, this is the perfect time to welcome a new furry family member into your home.

Every adopted pet is spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready for a fresh start.

Visit us throughout August to meet your new best friend and help give a deserving shelter pet the happy ending they've been waiting for.

Cats & Coffee is Back!

Your purr-fect morning is back! Join us for Cats & Coffee on Saturday, September 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Citizens for Animal Protection.

Spend your morning enjoying a cup of coffee and plenty of kitty cuddles while meeting some of our adorable adoptable cats. Whether you're looking to add a feline friend to your family or simply want to start your weekend with some furry love, we'd love to see you!

Save the Date: The Ruby Gala – Our 40th Gala Celebration

Join us for a truly special evening as we celebrate our 40th Gala, The Ruby Gala, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Post Oak Hotel.

This milestone event marks 40 incredible galas supporting the lifesaving work of our organization and the compassionate community behind it all. Guests will enjoy an unforgettable night featuring dinner, drinks, inspiring stories, and meaningful ways to make an impact for the animals in our care.

We are proud to have Danielle and Derek Gillespie serving as this year’s Gala Chairs, with Iraida Brown as our Honorary Chair. The evening will be emceed by Andy Cerota, bringing energy and heart to this memorable celebration.
