Bender was so shy when we met. He had a blanket over his cage. He hid behind me during our meet and greet, BUT he purred. Something told me he was the one. I was actually looking for an outgoing cat, but I felt we connected. I took him home and that was the last time I saw him for over a week. He just would not come out from under the bed. I was getting so concerned. Then on about the 10th day, I was laying on the floor next to the bed and all of a sudden, a little paw was on top of mine. He had reached out and basically high fived me, as if to say, "Let's do this." He came out and was talking a mile a minute. It didn't take him long to go beyond that room and explore everywhere. He did great with my other cat, he introduced himself with respect and now they are friends. I was so worried because my other cat is used to running the show, but he stepped aside and let Bender be the baby. I was very proud of him. Anyway, it took me forever to name him, but Bender fits even if you don't know the show. He LOVES to play and has boundless energy. He is obsessed in particular with this 1 toy. He will cry if it needs to be charged. He loves to explore and cruise around on your shoulder while you do things, looking at everything. He is fascinated with water and the shower. He often sits on the edge of the tub while I take a shower. I adore him. Bender is loving life. We both thank you for bringing us together. - Jennifer P
