Calling All Kroger Shoppers, Urgent Update Needed! Due to a Kroger computer glitch, CAP supporters who used support CAP through shopping at Kroger are no longer able to do so. Please sign up again as soon as possible by going to KrogerCommunityRewards.com, scroll down to Texas and click “Enroll Now” then sign in and click "Save."  Thank you for saving more lives!

A big thank you to West Houston Subaru and customers who designated CAP as their charity of choice - you raised $60,000 during the Share the Love event (with an additional $25,000 from West Houston Subaru for 2017 adoptions)!

A big shout out to our 2016 CAP Kids Club members who built 23 outside feral cat shelters for our FCAP volunteers!  We had an early cold snap and these 6-13 year old children did their part to help these community cats stay warm for the winter. CAP Kids prove even the smallest hands can help care for creatures great and small. Invite your child to join us at our next meeting this 2/12 at the CAP Animal Shelter & Pet Adoption Center from 1-3PM.

A big Christmas thank you to Martha Harris who raised money from her Zumba class for CAP! Martha collected donation in a "dog bucket" at class and called her fundraiser "Shakin for the Shelter." Shakin' for the Shelter raised $500 and purchased the food in our Pet Supply Store. Way to go Martha and all the supporters who shook it for CAP!

Be inspired throughout the year by pictures of adorable CAP foster pets!  Get your 2017 CAP Calendar for $10 at the shelter or order online.  Save more lives while experiencing extreme cuteness all year long!

Susan Quinn won the 2017 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium, generously donated by West Houston Subaru, at the CAP Gala raffle!  Thank you to all those who participated in the raffle and to West Houston Subaru for saving more lives!
