Feral Cat Emergency

feralSummer is kitten season and for Houston's feral cats, this means trouble.  CAP's FCAP program trapped and spayed/neutered 2,684 feral cats in 2009.  To continue this great work and keep more kittens from suffering on the streets of Houston, CAP needs your help.  Please consider donating today to save feral cats!

Tour for Life Adopt-A-Thon

2010-tourforlife-smCitizens for Animal Protection is once again joining forces with North Shore Animal League for a day of pet adoption fun during the annual Tour for Life.  On Sunday, April 18th from 1-6PM, come find your best friend at the CAP shelter, do some bargain hunting at our thrift store, obtain low-cost microchipping, and much more!

Designer Doghouse Competition

Submit your design today for divine doggie digs and help CAP shelter animals find a forever home of their own.

Salad Days for Homeless Pets

CAP has received a grant from the 2010 EXXON Mobil Community Summer Jobs Program! This grant will sponsor a summer intern to work at CAP for eight weeks this summer.
