We spent several weeks looking for the perfect addition to our family and Sophie was the one. She had some anxiety to overcome and was initially a little afraid of men.

She has come so far in just a few weeks and she loves to go everywhere with us. My teen son is her favorite playmate and my lap is her favorite place to relax. We could not be happier.

In December of 2024, Rocky (formerly known as Spike) found his human, who says he "fills our home with joy, cuteness, and

tenderness!!!"

We adopted our handsome boy Wednesday on July 2018. I remember we couldn’t pick up Wednesday on Wednesday because it

was 4th of July so we had to pick him up on Thursday. Haha. We kept the named Wednesday because it just fit him. He is the

sweetest boy ever! He has never hissed, bit or scratched anyone. When people come over he loves to greet them and love on

them. He specially loves to sit on his dad’s chest. He loves his kids so much! My son was born almost three years after we got

him and he is so patient and loving. My daughter who was 2 and half when we got him, likes to tuck him in, put necklaces on him

and treat him like a baby. You can find them cuddling or sleeping together.  We have one more cat, a dog and a ball python. We

love all the pets!

We adopted Luna almost a year ago (December 26th), and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. She’s the sweetest and

most cuddly girl, and we can’t imagine life without her. Thank you for giving us the greatest addition to our family.

Christmas will mark three months since French Toast joined our family. She has made herself at home and we are in love. She's

super chatty and loves cuddling up on the couch, riding around on our shoulders, and chasing her toys up and down the stairs.

Thank you, CAP, for helping French Toast find her way to us.

Hi, after a couple of months living alone, I decided to adopt a pet, I really didn't know if I wanted a dog or a cat, but considering my time, I preferred to go see kittens.

The day I went to the adoption center I fell in love with Susy at first sight, she stood out among all the cats, she was the only white and older cat there was, she inspired a lot of peace and tranquility in me.

Really after almost two months of being with her, it has been the best decision I have ever made. Her company fills my days with joy, coming home from work and seeing her waiting for me is the best, I want to come home every day to see her and hug her and fill her with kisses. At first she was very shy and a little scared, she hid the first days, but I gave her her space and gave her time to adapt, now she is super sweet, she looks for me to sleep together every day, she is loving, sensible, clean and educated. I love her with all my being, Thanks to CAP for giving her the opportunity to find a second home.

From what I understood from the vet tech at the final adoption meeting, Lucy was a kitty who had "been on the struggle bus" and then after she was so well cared for, and cleared of all kinds of parasites, and fattened up a little by her foster, she was healthy enough to be spayed and adoptable.

Lucy is a total firecracker now! Still under three pounds, she pretty much rules the roost, and has tried (many times) to make the crotchety 17 yo resident fur boss cat (Sterling) be a pal. The dogs think she is fun and funny, and she has fit in beautifully with our whole family.

I decided that after grieving the loss of my two Grandogies, one who had passed in March from old age and one who had passed in June from Liver Cancer, that it was time to adopt a rescue.  My Vet recommended CAP.  I saw Hazel’s photo and read her bio on line.  I called to make sure she was still available for adoption and met her that day.  She greeted me with her tail wagging, a smile on her face and plenty of kisses.  After everything was finalized, Hazel came home with me that day!!

Even though it has only been three weeks, I feel as though we have known each other for years.  Hazel already knew how to sit and with very little treat encouragement, she now gives me her paw.  She is so intelligent, loving, affectionate, playful, and willing to learn. I Love her so much; I am so happy and so is Hazel.  She has her forever home. Emoji Thank you CAP.

We adopted Leeloo (now Harley) two months ago. She is such a sweetie with a little bit if craziness.

We are her fourth and final home! She is now part of our family.

We lost our sweet cat of 12 years and were feeling very sad. We came to CAP after a while, unsure but open to the idea of having another cat around. We met some other cats who were so sweet, but after Topaz (Jenna) reached out to us both, we met her and realized she was perfect. She was a little shy, but so loving and wanting of attention. Now that we're home, she's warmed up and loves pets, to sleep in bed with us and to chase her wand! She loves watching TV and pawing at anything on screen. She's wonderful and we look forward to learning even more about her. Thank you CAP.
