Volunteer Information Session
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Citizens for Animal Protection. To learn more about CAP, our programs, and our volunteer opportunities please register for an upcoming Volunteer Information Session. This is the first of two steps to become an "official" CAP volunteer; for more information on our volunteer training process and requirements, please visit the Volunteer page.
Each person who will attend must register. Seating is limited, so please do not bring children or extra guests. CAP requires a minimum volunteer commitment of 4 hours a month for 6 months and a minimum volunteer age of 14 years old.
Youth ages 16 through 18 may volunteer without parental supervision, but a parent or legal guardian must sign a legal release.
All youth volunteers age 14-15 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian at all times while in the shelter. One parent may supervise one child at a time.
