Olive was abandoned at CAP but she's determined to make the best of it.
This 37-pound older pup is hesitant and nervous around new people until she warms up to you. Then she's all about jumping and putting things into her mouth - like leashes, hands, etc. Fun stuff. She barks when she is nervous. This might be at people she doesn't know or a dog or two. She particularly barks at men and may be afraid of them. If there are men in the home, they should meet her. If you have children or a dog, please bring them to meet her too. Her rough play style may be too much for them until she learns better. She is not used to walking on a leash and thinks that's her cue to jump. She knows the sit command. We don't know if she is house trained so please be patient if you have to teach her. She has a lot of energy and a lot of learn and needs a human to help her with these things. High-energy Olive is hoping for an active family who will do fun things with her. Come check her out and offer her the home she needs and deserves. Because Olive has been at the shelter for over a month she is a VIP and her adoption fee is 50% off!
Please meet Olive and our other dogs for adoption on the dog adoptions
