CAP has many wonderful dogs and puppies available for adoption. Also, new animals arrive every day at the shelter, so our site features only a small number of our residents. For a real canine caper, stop by the shelter, located at 11925 Katy Freeway in Houston, Texas.

Hannah is a beautiful white Poodle mix. She is 2 years old and weighs only 24 lbs. so she won’t get any bigger. She is good with older kids on up and gets along well with other dog and even cats. Hi, I’m Jackson, an adorable and handsome 3 ½ month Irish Wolfhound/ German Wirehaired Pointer / Labrador puppy mix – which makes me highly intelligent and very loving and loyal. I am just about perfect! I sleep in a kennel at night and during the day when my foster family is out and I keep it clean and dry. I’m going to be a big guy – I currently weigh 30 lbs and will probably be 70+ when all grown up and although I love everyone I will most likely do best with people 8 and older because of my size. I’ve lots of puppy energy and love to romp with my foster family’s two dogs. If you like a happy smiling dog, I’m your girl. At 3½ I’m fully grown so I won’t get any bigger. I’m a Yorkie/ Bichon Frise mix and weigh 13 lbs. I’m already housetrained and like kids to adults and other dogs and cats. I’m a little scared here so I am hoping someone will take me home soon. I am only here because my owner passed away and I am still grieving so it may take me a little bit of time to adjust. I really need someone to give me a second chance at a forever home.

I began basic training and would love to learn with you. I was a stray enrolled in the weekend sponsor program so I’m only at CAPs Saturday and Sunday. If you take me home, we’ll be forever friends. I was originally a stray, but then I got adopted. They returned me though cause I just need some time to learn a new routine.
