Carolyn writes, I would like to introduce you to our beloved, family member, Dolly.  A year ago, I had to put my 17 and ahalf year old Maltese rescue to sleep.  I was devastated, but the fact we had four other dogs at home (3 of which are rescues) helped me quite a bit.  Still, Ellie had left a hole in my heart. I looked online every day for another baby to fill the void, but my husband didn't feel we needed another dog. Then on a Saturday he called and asked me how I felt about getting another dog.  I told him I still wanted one and then he told me about Dolly. He said she was very quiet, and for some reason seemed special. He also told me she had been left behind in a backyard when the people moved. Shame on them!  Anyway, my husband picked me up so I could meet Dolly.  It was love at first sight!  Her face reminds me of Ellie, and she is the sweetest, most loving girl. Thanks to the lady who fostered her for saving her life and for potty training her. To date, she has not had a single accident. These pictures show Dolly resting on our bed (She sleeps with us every night, along with her Yorkie brother & Maltese sister.). She also likes to sunbathes on the lounge chair outside, although she isn't allowed to do that alone.  We have been so blessed by Dolly's presence in our lives.

Zin writes,  He is so adorable, very energetic, and sometimes a little naughty.

Lana writes,  Sophie Mae is a sweet little girl, she has already stolen our hearts.   She gets along well with our grandchildren and her new sister Remy Roux.

Michelle writes,  I adopted Morrison on 06/20/10. He is a real fire-cracker! At first I was a little weary because on his profile card it stated he is a ‘jealous’ dog. Maybe that was the previous owners experience but when my husband or I walk him, he wags his tail at all the neighbor’s dogs and they play together. He is such a snuggler.  he has his comfy little doggy bed that sits on the side of our bed… he seems to like it!

Julia writes,  I am happy to tell you Tiger is doing just great.  Tiger is just the love of our life.  He is the smartest dog I do believe I have ever had, show him something once or twice and he has it.

Abi wrote,  I understand that Mary gave him and his siblings one-on-one attention while they were mother-less.  I think that made a difference with his love for people.,, ,,He is a joy and my 2-yr old calico is beginning to tease, chase and play with him.

The Carruth Family writes,  We adopted Bella (aka Queeny) in May and we couldn't be happier with our new addition. Bella is still a puppy with loads of energy but she loves our daily walks and time playing outside together. We are still trying to work with her to calm down enough for a quiet lounge on the sofa or to sleep in our bed, but that will come with time, age, and training. She is an incredibly intelligent dog and so very sweet (especially to our young children). She loves water and its hard to keep her out of it which means she gets loads of baths every week. We look forward to more walks (she is so good on a leash already), teaching her to play fetch, and lazy Sundays around the house together. She's simply the perfect dog but we are a little biased.

Paul writes,  Bevo is ajuting well to his new home and ply mates.

Kristin writes,  Ramses (formerly Romeo) came to my house last September- I had lost my cat due to old age in May of that year. I had been reluctant at first to get another cat, but as time went by, I realized how much I missed having a cat in my life. Ramses could not have been more perfect. He is the biggest cuddle-bug, and he acts very grateful to have been rescued. He curls up with me at night and shadows me everywhere I go. He gets along well with my Lab (whose name is, ironically, Romeo- I must be Juliet!) and enjoys batting at his tail. I can't imagine why anybody ever gave him up, but I am so happy to have him in my life!
