Annabel writes, puppy is settling in really well. We named him Del Boy after a character in an English comedy show. The kids adore him as much as he adores them. Daisy our dog took to him straight away and it was love at first sight with my husband! And yes he slept with me and my husband and Daisy in bed last night- he is a bed hog!
Deb writes, Adopting Jack & Sally, aka/Poppy & Pepe, has adding a new dimension to our family. We are an extended family of four, Mom, Dad, daughter, Julie, and grandbaby, Emma. We love our kittens and they have returned the favor by loving us back. Jack and Sally, brother and sister, share a bedroom in our home and love having their own space. They are awaken each morning and begin what we call Godzilla time, playing chase, rising up for attack, and colliding with each other. Our house gets quiet about 10AM, with chores done, others at work and school, leaving Jack and Sally to cuddle with me. Pictures show them just waking up from their midday nap. Ready for the afternoon romp! They are very healthy and happy . First trip to Dr. Betty's was a great success! Happy owners with happy kittens!
Emma writes, We went looking for a dog that was a little older than a puppy, but was ok with cats and a baby. Juji has been more than fantastic. He loves sleeping on your feet. Whether he is at the dog park or in our own backyard, he is always well-behaved and such a happy dog. We go for walks in the evenings with our neighbors and their adopted puppy Kahn and both dogs couldn't be more content.
Celeste and James write, We adopted Suzie last year in october and have been blessed every since! She is definitely quite the little character and everyone who has ever come in contact with her from the cable guy to the veterinarians in the practice we go to can attest to that! Especially the veterinarians! Since we have had Suzie we have become quite familiar with the vet office since we have visited there almost twice a month since bringing her home!! She seems to think she is invincible to everything she comes in contact with and if you meet you would understand that. The vets absolutely love her though and said they have never seen a more loving and unique cat!! Even when they are poking her! We absolutely love Suzie and she reafirms our love with every little meow.
Tim writes, Logan is something else!! I had a couple of different cats growing up, and they were great, but Logan is definitely an original cat. The first day we brought him home, he was a little shy and hid in his litter box for 20 minutes or so. By the end of the night, he was a little more active, and his personality slowly started coming out. He's very affectionate and attached to us - Every day when I get home from work, he immediately lays on my lap for awhile to get some petting. He's also very playful - He's the first cat I've seen that is capable of opening cabinets with his paws, and I can't figure out why, but when he's running through the apartment, he loves jumping onto the furniture and immediately "bouncing" off of it on his way to the next room. We are VERY glad to have Logan in our lives.
Leslie writes, It had been years since I had a dog but after my cat of nineteen years died, I decided to adopt a dog. I went to the shelter hoping to find a small to medium size dog. I found my darling Sophie (was called Samantha) within minutes. I was allowed to put her on a lease and take a walk with her. It was love at first sight. She was very dirty and her fur was matted but she was so affectionate and had just a pleasant disposition. I completed the paperwork and interview process on a Friday. Sophie was scheduled to be spayed the following Monday and I was able to pick her up and take her home. Sophie has been the most incredible loving and loyal dog. She is about 12 years old now and has lost her hearing but she is still very active and affectionate.
Mandy writes, I adopted Milly(now Rose) on 3-15-11. She took about a week to warm up to my first cat, Trevor, a 6 month old buff/white tabby, but Rose has settled in. She's been a calming influence on Trevor, who loves having a big sister to play with and curl up with. Thanks to their play, Rose has quickly gotten back to a healthy weight. They're both such a joy to watch and to love. I can't think of anything better then falling asleep with two cats purring in your ear.
Angela writes, I adopted Maddie a year after my first adoption (Emma) and I couldn't have asked for better pups! Maddie is 6 years old now and I just love her more every day. She loves going to the park and going for bike rides.
Kathleen writes, Zoey. She is doing great!
