Help us help other shelters working to rescue animals from the flood.  CAP is setting up an emergency trailer and also asking for donations of dye-free wet and dry food, litter, and other sundries. Buy and ship through Amazon smile or we will happily receive your donations at the shelter.

Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) is preparing to help small local animal shelters due to the recent flooding. An emergency trailer will be fully up and running next week and will be available to comfortably house animals in need. To help provide the proper care needed, we are asking for assistance from the public for the following supplies: Canned and dry Dog and Cat Food (no dyes), Canned and dry Puppy and Kitten Food (no dyes), Non-clumping litter, Food trays (cardboard similar to hot dog trays) towels, clear plastic shoebox containers, and heavy duty zip ties. Buy and ship through Amazon smile or we will happily receive your donations at the shelter.

CAP is also holding our annual Kick-Off to Summer, a fee-waived adoption event this weekend - Sat 6/4 11am-7pm and Sun 6/5 1-7pm . The shelter is full of wonderful cats, dogs and small animals all waiting for their chance to become your next amazing companion. Help us find forever homes for the animals currently at the shelter, and open space for those who need a safe haven from the floods.
