Fifth-grader Joshua Brand raised money for his college fund...and Houston's homeless animals! Entrepreneurial Josh held a garage sale and donated $110 to CAP.
Rising fifth-grader Joshua Brand was concerned about his college education and decided to hold a garage sale to raise money. He gathered his inventory, arranged it in departments, set prices and was ready to go. But Joshua thinks of others and wanted to give to a charity as well. Taking the same business approach, he researched local organizations to see which was the best fit. Joshua chose CAP because of the work it does for animals in the community. The garage sale was a great success. Joshua has added to his college fund, and donated $110 to CAP.
